The community of Sa-Nur in the northern Shomron is celebrating two years since its reestablishment this Sabbath.
Sa-Nur was abandoned several times by its residents at various points during the Oslo War. Two years ago, a group of families moved to the former artists' colony together in order to strengthen the Jewish presence in the region. The community now boasts over 30 families.
A synagogue and mikvah (ritual bath) were both built in the past two years, as well.
