The road to the northern Shomron community of Homesh was closed by military order this afternoon, to enable a delegation of Evacuation Authority officials to visit the town. Homesh is one of the four northern Shomron communities slated for destruction under the disengagement/expulsion plan. Residents of neighboring towns wished to "accompany" the delegation to Homesh, and therefore the IDF took the step of closing the road.
