Five new families have moved into the northern Shomron community of Sanur, one of four communities in the area slated for destruction under the Gaza/Shomron Disengagement Plan.

According to an early-morning Army Radio report, the five are living in tents since the community if filled to capacity, adding the move is a violation of a directive released by IDF Central Commander Major-General Yair Naveh, prohibiting residents from moving into a community slated for removal.

The report added Sanur leaders released a statement that this is the “true Zionist response” to the government’s planned eradication of Sanur.
