2		Attack from the Temple Mount on worshippers at the Western Wall forces cessation of prayers and evacuation of all the Jews. How can we bear the shame?
3		Continuous attacks on Joseph's Tomb in Shechem.
4		The IDF threatens by moving tanks out of their camps- but does not use them.
5		Joseph's Tomb burns- the small, cut off, group of Israeli defenders stand by their posts.

19		A column of 5,000 Arabs march from Shechem towards Elon Moreh, and are stopped by the IDF just before the entrance to the Yishuv. Building more sand-bag positions.
20		A Sukkot tour of families to Joshua's altar on Mt. Eval is ambushed by Palestinian Police, and Rabbi Binyamin Herling is killed while covering the retreat of the others. The IDF sends in helicopter gunships which do nothing for 5 hours, until the survivors are rescued under the cover of darkness.
21		Funeral of Rabbi Binyamin Herling at Kedumim. Thousands of his students took part.
