Projects PIZZA FOR SOLDIERS

All over Israel (and in the Diaspora) different groups have come together to send special gifts to our soldiers on the front lines to show our appreciation for their effort in serving our country and saving Jewish lives. Something different has been to hand deliver to them hot pizza and cold drinks.

The residents of Elon Moreh have always had a special relationship with the soldiers serving nearby – candy and treats every Erev Shabbat and Erev Chag, Mishloach Manot on Purim, and invitations to Shabbat meals to any soldier stationed in the area or passing through. Bringing the hot pizza to them at the roadblocks or in their tanks in the middle of the war zone gives them a much appreciated surprise.

Bringing pizza to our soldiers provides them with a much-needed moral boost by demonstrating support from all over the world and, at the same time, providing people throughout the world with a way to express their solidarity with Israel and its defense forces.

From a small, family run pizza shop in Elon Moreh we can send pizzas and sodas to the soldiers serving in the area of Shechem (Nablus).

A personal note with your pizza to the soldiers can add a special touch.

Within a few days of receiving your donation, we will deliver a fresh, hot, kosher pizza and bottle of soda to IDF soldiers stationed around Shechem, , and report back to you by e-mail including photos of the delivery!.

Also as a special treat, very much appreciated on the hot Israeli summer days - ICE CREAM.

On a lonely quite night on guard duty, keeping awake can sometimes be very difficult, especially after a full day of patrol. One thing that can help is a sweet treat. We can provide packages of candy, chocolate, waffles, cookies, and other treats.

As deliveries are coordinated with the army, they pose no security threat to the soldiers or to the communities they are protecting. On the contrary, from our experience, they are welcomed and appreciated by officers and soldiers alike.
